The US telethon has raised over $61 Million to help those affected by the earthquake.
The event was hosted by George Clooney.
It is now 2 weeks since the earthquake hit, killing tens of thousands and leaving at least 2 million homeless.
Meanwhile in the UK, news of the recording of a charity CD version of Everybody Hurts, masterminded by Simon Cowell, have been in the news. Many celebrities are taking part, including Susan Boyle, Leona Lewis, Robbie Williams, James Morrison and Kylie.
The release date isn't yet known, but it is hoped it will be 7 February and it may be the biggest music download ever.
In the UK, the public have already donated over £42 million.
It seems that all over the world, people are still prepared to help, despite their own financial difficulties.
