Choosing your niche and getting it right is one of the keys to finding the best way to make money online. The most important factor you need to take into consideration is that people are spending money in the niche and that they always want the latest information.
Desperate People
So, there are a number of different types of niche you can choose from. A niche where people are desperate is a good example: desperate to make money, to lose weight or get a girl or boyfriend. Come up with a few more of your own ideas.
You could also choose a niche in the hobby or interest category where people are complete fanatics and buy everything they can get their hands on. You know the sort of thing - golf, playing the guitar and pets are great examples.
Should you choose a niche you know something about?
Only if a lot of people want to buy your knowledge! You could be a world expert on the Northern Hairy-nosed Wombat, but if the rest of the world doesn't share your interest, you won't be able to create a sustainable online business.
Obviously it helps if you can write content from your own knowledge, but it's easy to find information on any topic these days. So don't be put off just because you're not an expert.
How can you find out if people are buying?
Check out who is selling! If you do a search on Google, check out the number of ads on the right hand side of the page. Scroll down and click the link which says more ads to see how many people are advertising. Track the ads for a while - if you see the same people advertising over a period of weeks or months, you can be sure they are making sales.
Look at the number of products already on sale in the niche. You can do this by going to Clickbank, eBay and Amazon and checking out the best sellers.
